 "We become what we think
about."
It is true, we become what we think about. I devised
this tool, "Blessings of the Day," as a way for all of
us to record daily the small, and maybe large, events
that were truly blessings. From the smile of a stranger
to the first signs of spring, summer, fall or winter ...
to the call from a friend or someone who let us into a
busy traffic lane. Or maybe it's recalling the kind and
compassionate words you said to lift someone else up who
was struggling.
A blessing from you to someone else can have a powerful
and positive effect on those around us, but we have to
awaken in the morning and create the intention
to look
for these opportunities to come our way.
I have used this exercise myself for years on a weekly
and sometimes daily
basis and the results have been
phenomenal. Through the writing process, we
get to
actually see the miracles we create for others and those
that are given to us.
Print the attached form and make copies to have handy to
fill in. Slow down and enjoy all of the transactions
that occur daily around you. Put a reminder in your
computer calendar to help you remember the day or days
each week that you'd like to do this. And reap the
benefits of our ?Daily Blessings.?
I wish you abundance, peace, joy and happiness in every
area of your life.
Peace & Love,
David

As the
World Turns

If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your
back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep, you are
richer than 75% of this world.
If you woke up this morning with more health than
illness, you are more blessed than the million who will
not survive this week.
If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare
change in a dish someplace, you are among the top 8% of
the world's wealthy.
If you can attend a church meeting without fear of
harassment, arrest, torture, or death, you are more
blessed that three billion people in the world.
If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the
loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the
pangs of starvation, you are ahead of 500 million people
in the world.
If your parents are still alive and still married, you
are very rare, even in the United States.
If you can hold someone's hand, hug them, or even touch
them on the shoulder, you are blessed because you can
offer healing touch.
If you hold up your head with a smile on your face and
are truly thankful, you are blessed because the majority
can, but most do not.
If you can read this message, you have just received a
double blessing in that someone was thinking of you, and
furthermore, you are more blessed than over two billion
people in the world who cannot read at all.
As you read this and are reminded how life is in the
rest of the world, remember just how blessed you really
are!
